i love frisee aux lardons. i typically like a bit more vinegar punch with this salad but thought this was a nice rendition. dug the large lardons. never seen potatoes in it, wasn't sure how much they added to the plate. wish it had a touch more salt and pepper but overall enjoya

felt like it needed some work. very mildly seasoned. expected a lot more "tapenade" punch/flavor. had an olive pit mixed in as well

the other "tied for best" dish. expected some traditional veg (carrots, onions, mushrooms) but didn't miss them. unbelievably good meat, braised perfectly, pushed over the top by the crispy bits. quintessential puree and spinach. exquisite sauce. licked the plate clean
