The Team
Merai comes from the same talented team behind Mahaniyom, another successful Thai restaurant in the area. Co-owner Chompon “Boong” Boonnak leads the culinary direction, bringing expertise from their first restaurant which opened in 2019. The success of Mahaniyom inspired the team to create Merai as a testament to guests’ love for Thai food and their willingness to try more adventurous options beyond familiar dishes like Pad Thai and curry.

& it was 100% worth the hype the drinks here- SO good and well balanced the food here- what we got was pretty basic but everything was bomb. We had heard a lot about this hot dog so we had to get it- the sausage was HUGE (that’s what she said) and there was this amazing salted egg yolk mayo on it. The taro fries were perfectly crisp and properly salted. & last but not least, the one thing I believe you HAVE to get if you go here is the Thai tea tiramisu!!
